CRAIG SMITH - bass, keys, vocals HOLDIN' BACK: the 60'S

Produced & recorded the New Balance Theme Song. Released Hopey -Changey Blues I-Tunes, 2010, Remix 2012.  Founded, produced & played in the Holdin’ Back Band (2013-2022), plus Crimson Wine, The Tryp and Ravin’ Blue.

 Dave was the original drummer for Holdin' Bac k in 2013 with Craig and Paul, but left to front his own band, Ravin' Blue, as lead singer/drummer.  He  returned as drummer for 2021-2022.  Dave is trained in Rock, Funk, and Fusion.  He has played with many local bands, including The Paine Street Band (original member), Ray Brooks and Friends, and the Blue Nova, 

  House Band at the Ebb Tide/Beach Ball opening for Fats Domino, Little Richard, Ike & Tina Turner & Steppenwolf (Bangor Maine). Recorded 1 single, 1 Album, 1977. Produced Ravin’ Blue.  

 Performs with Mike Girard’s Big Swinging Thing, Tornado Alley, Founded Wachusett Jazz Quartet and performed  with James Montgomery , Charles Neville (2004-2018) as well as The Swinging Skeletones, and  The New England Swing Orchestra
