EMMA RIFFELMACHER Lead vocals, bass, ukelele BEACH DAY

 I'm a Classically trained, exceptional lead vocalist with a vast musical repertoire and years of band experience.  I add  bass and ukelele as accompaniment to the Blake Emma Band. 

 BACKGROUND

I have a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Baldwin Wallace College.  I later added jazz studies to create a vast musical repertoire.  I've been a member of several local bands, most recently as lead vocalist with the Holdin' Back Band for the past 6 years, playing all styles of music at many local town bandstands, fairs (Spencer Fair, Sterling Fair, Holden Days), private events, Senior living communities and centers.  

I have also developed music programs for seniors, adults with special needs, and dementia.

As a soloist "Music with EMMA", I perform your favorite songs, covering the best performers for all musical eras and style: Oldies, the Great American Songbook, and Contemporary.

I've entertained crowds at over a 1,000 wedding receptions, club, and events over a long career.   I provide vocals, guitar, and MC duties for the Blake Emma Band. 

BACKGROUND

I was the founder, MC, music arranger, and performer in the First Class band for 14 years, DJ for 9 years, founder and MC for the Holdin’ Back band for 9 years, and now with the Blake Emma Band.  I have played all styles of music.  Additionally, I have also performed at many local town bandstands, fairs (Spencer Fair, Sterling Fair, Holden Days), private events, Senior living communities and centers.   

 Instructor (guitar, bass, uke) for more than 25 years. Studied guitar with Monster Mike Welch, Peter Clemente Sr. and Joe D’Angelo. 

As a soloist "Blake's Tunes", I cover the great performers (Elvis, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, James Taylor, Frank Sinatra, and more) and musical styles from Oldies, Classic Rock, to Contemporary. 

I wear two hats in the group, playing both steel pan drums and percussion. I'm one of the area's most in-demand steel drum players.  I started playing the steel drums back in 2003 while attending the Hartt School, and have since developed a love and passion for all things steelpan related. Since 2012AY, I've been playing steel drums for the nationally acclaimed Jimmy Buffett tribute show, Changes In Latitudes, playing all across the Northeast and all over the country. 

BACKGROUND

I'm a professional percussionist, steel drummer, and teacher based in Worcester, Massachusetts, playing and teaching drums, percussion, and steel drums for over 15 years.

I hold both a Masters and Bachelors degree in Percussion Performance from the College-Conservatory of Music and the Hartt School of Music.  

Since 2009, I have also been actively performing in a variety of musical genres. He can often be seen performing with local symphonies in MA and CT, as well as playing percussion and drum set for several musical theater productions.
